RCIA
Are you interested in becoming a Catholic and being received into the
Church? Perhaps you would like to inquire
into the basics of the Catholic faith? Maybe you are already a Catholic,
and would like to know more about your faith and the teachings of our
Church. Or maybe you never received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and
would like to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church. If so, join
us for RCIA/Inquiry classes on Tuesday evenings from 7:00–8:00 PM.
You are under no obligation if you attend. We will begin our journey of
faith with an information session and overview of the classes next
Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Parish Hall. All are welcome.
For more information call the Parish office at 478- 788-6386
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Only 2 more weeks until C.C.D. starts - are your children registered?
Classes are for children from K-3 through 8th grade and meet in the
schoolhouse from 11:15 AM until 12:15 PM.
Children will have their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
during their 2nd grade.
We celebrate Confirmation in the 8th grade and please note that Mount de
Sales students also need to attend C.C.D. Students must be enrolled for
the whole school year in order to properly prepare for these Sacraments.
Registration forms are available in the Narthex..
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTY
We also need volunteers to teach the children of our parish.
Please
consider this rewarding ministry.
Volunteer forms are in the Narthex.
If you are
interested in becoming part of our program, please contact Petra Baker
at 788-6386 or email at
dre@holyspiritmacon.org.
