Holy Spirit Parish. Please support them!!!
ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED!
We need of our children and teenagers stepping forward
to volunteer their time and talent to serve our parish
as Altar Servers. This is open to all boys and girls ages 8 -18 in the
parish. We will partner our new young servers
with an older, more experienced server to help with their training. We
will schedule a training session within the next
few weeks. Please call the church office to volunteer. Parents and
grandparents please help by encouraging and
supporting your children in this important ministry. It enhances our
parish worship and also teaches our youth
about stewardship, giving back to God for all the many gifts He gives
us.
OUR PRAYER CHAIN
For many years Holy Spirit has had a very active "prayer
chain" for the purpose of praying for parishioners who are
sick, undergoing surgery, or dying. In an attempt to further this
ministry of prayer by involving the entire parish.
Beginning immediately we will be printing this prayer list in our church
bulletin each week. This prayer list is only for
parishioners and their immediate family members. Only the parishioner
themselves or an immediate family member
may place a name on the list by calling the church office at 788-6386 by
noon on Monday for the following weekend.
The list will be purged at the end of each month and a new list begun.

GRACE IN ACTION
"It is too little, the Lord says, for you to be my
servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and restore the survivors of
Israel;
I will make you a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to
the ends of the earth." (Isaiah 49:3, 5-6)
Each of us has something to give, and offering our gifts is the way we
bring Christ's light to the lives of those around us, and to those in
need in our city and world.
