BISHOP'S ANNUAL APPEAL
This week we begin the Bishop's Annual Appeal.
The theme this year is "Let us build up the Church together"
Our parish target is $18,302 and we are confident that with everyone's participation
we will be able to exceed that amount.
Every gift is important!
Please contribute to the BAA this year.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT!
The Holy Spirit Men's Club is hosting our annual parish-wide Family Fun Night on Sunday,
February 5 from 6:00 PM  until ???!
This is always a very fun evening of fellowship for the entire family, whether you are a football fan or not.
In addition to the "big game" on the big screen TV we will have movies, cards, and video games.
The Men's Club will supply pizza and families are asked to bring their favorite beverages
and enough snacks and side dishes to share.
There is no cost for this event and all parishioners are invited!

RACHEL'S VINEYARD
Every New Year brings with it the promise of hope and change.
So if you have feelings of grief, anxiety, guilt, depression, emotional or spiritual problems
due to a past abortion know that you are not alone.
The Rachel's Vineyard Ministry is here to help you with professional counseling,
emotional support and Post Abortion Healing Retreats.
The next retreat is scheduled for March 9-11, 2012 near Augusta, GA

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES
(Ages 21-40)
February 7—YAM Lenten Bible Study. We will start a 7 week bible study course with "The Seven Last Words of Christ" at Mike and Kathryn's house in Warner Robins. Please e-mail Linda at yam@yammidga.com for details.

BUNKO FOR BREAST CANCER
United in Pink presents the 8th Annual Bunko For Breast Cancer on Friday, February 10th, 2012.
Held at Al Sihah Shrine Park, Doors will open at 5:30 PM.
 Mark Ballard will emcee and The Second Wind will be performing.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS GIVE BLOOD
The Knights of Columbus will be holding a Blood Drive on Monday, February 13 in the Social Hall at St. Joseph
from 1:30- 6:30 PM. There will sign-up sheets in the narthex, or you can call Dennis Staples at 478-607-1818.

ULTREYA
Ultreya for the month of February will be held at St. Peter Claver on the 13th (please note change).
SOL will begin at 6:30 PM followed by Ultreya at 7:00 PM.
If you are interested in making your weekend please join us at 7:00 PM.

IRISH NIGHT
This year's Irish Night will be on Friday, March 2, 2012 in the St. Katharine Drexel Center at St. Peter Claver, 131 Ward St. Macon. The fun begins at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 each or a table for $200. The entertainment this year includes Harry O'Donoghue, Carroll Brown, and the Sweet Adelines. MOUNT DE SALES ACADEMY OPEN HOUSE
Mount de Sales Academy will host an open house for prospective students and families grades 6-12
on Thursday, February 9; 6-6:15 PM. Admissions Information, Zuver Center; 6:15-7:30 PM. School Tours.
Deadline for completed applications to be considered for second pool admission is February 24.
All applicants will be required to take the entrance test; next testing is March 3.
Financial aid deadline is March 14.

ST. VALENTINE COUPLE'S MASS AND DINNER
 We will have a special Mass honoring couples on Saturday, February 18, at 6:00 PM.
Come have your marriage blessed and join us afterwards for a romantic dinner and a movie.
The Mass and Blessing are free; the dinner and the movie are $25 per couple.
Please call the church office as soon as possible at 788-6386 for reservations.
Dinner is limited to the first 40 couples.
Reservations close on Tuesday, February 14, 2012.

A marriage can never be too good. Marriage Encounter is designed to deepen and enrich the joys a couple shares together, whether they have been married for a short time or many years.
